This fundraiser supports study away/abroad experiences organized by Kent State University’s (KSU) Deaf Education Program.  KSU students who are interested in working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students travel with program faculty to states (e.g., Hawai’i) or countries (e.g., Mexico, Jamaica) where there is no current deaf education teacher training program to work with deaf students and model pedagogical practices taught by KSU’s Deaf Education Teacher Preparation program.
